Frequently asked questions.

Where do you pick up?

We have pickup locations throughout North Lake Tahoe and the Westshore to make your commute as simple as possible. Private dock pickups are also available water level permitting.

How many people can come?

The US Coast Guard limits the number of passengers to 6 per boat. If you have a bigger party call us to make arrangements.

What should we bring?

Definitely bring towels, warm clothes, and sunscreen for everyone. Snacks and drinks are welcome too. The boat has a cooler on board but bring a small bag of ice if you want your beverages frosty. Please avoid bringing food that has potential to stain or anything crumbly and messy.

Is there a cancellation policy?

You can cancel your reservation up to 48 hours before hand with no penalty. Reservations cancelled within 48 hours will be charged a penalty of 50% the value of the booking.

What if the weather is looking unfavorable?

The weather in the Lake Tahoe region plays a big role in the safety and enjoyability of your experience. We will always do our best to take you out on the boat in challenging conditions. However, your safety is our first concern. Accordingly, the boat captain has complete discretion to cancel the outing if he feels it is necessary due to lake conditions. If inclement weather necessitates cancelation of your outing we will of course attempt to reschedule the trip at your convenience without additional cost or penalty.

Do you serve the South Lake Tahoe area?

Our southernmost pickup area is in Hurricane Bay on Tahoe’s West shore about 45 minutes from South Lake. Pickups can be arranged but with travel fee assessed. Call for details.
